Volunteer at the Student Mentor Luncheon

Tuesday, February 26, 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

This is a unique, impactful, and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a young Club Manager’s career by serving as a Manager Mentor during the student chapter luncheon. Manager Mentors would be called upon to sit with a table of CMAA student members and discuss such topics as transitioning into the club management industry after graduation and expectations for a career in club management. In addition, you will be asked to provide advice and answer any pertinent questions the students may have about CMAA, Club Management as a profession and the private club industry. Register for this event online, as space is limited!

Service Event and School Supply Drive for PENCIL, Presented by the CMAA YoPros

Tuesday, February 26, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, February 27, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

CMAA YoPros will be collecting donations of school supplies for PENCIL, a local organization that provides community resources to Metro Nashville Public Schools. The supplies collected during this drive will then be made available to local teachers for use in their classes, at no cost to them, allowing them to meet the educational needs of their students. While this initiative is sponsored by the CMAA YoPros, all Conference attendees are asked to consider donating to this cause. Collection bins will be set up in the Club Business Expo hall and near the Member Services Pavilion during the hours listed.

If you would like to make a monetary donation in lieu of school supplies to PENCIL, you can do so online at: https://give.classy.org/cmaapencil. PENCIL is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record that will be sent to you upon successful completion of your donation.
