Whitney Reid Biography  

President of the RCS Group and published author, Whitney Reid has over 20 years of management and consulting experience and is considered the “go-to” person for club operations management. A former Club Manager and Vice President of Club Operations with world-class Country Club Communities, her professional profile includes top management positions with Marriott Management Services, Desert Mountain Club, Troon North Golf Club and Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club. 

With extensive hands-on experience managing multi-million dollar renovation and clubhouse remodeling projects, along with successful new club openings, Whitney has a thorough understanding of the design review and development process. Her knowledge of the functional design requirements of facilities has afforded her the opportunity to work with some the industries top professionals; increasing efficiency and reducing expenses at many clubs. 

Artfully skilled in special event management, Whitney has successfully crafted and executed events ranging from private banquets, to key club traditions, to national PGA and LPGA tournaments.  

Lucrative marketing concepts coupled with comprehensive alignment strategies and training programs are Whitney’s trademark. She is known for expertly facilitating workshops with sensitivity of diversified backgrounds, experiences and agendas: The results of which have enabled unified strategic decision making with long-term vision and accountability.  

Whitney has been an invited speaker at the World Conference on Club Management, Club Managers Association of Europe, Assistant Club Managers Conference, Golf Inc. and Business Management Institute International.  She has also spoken to many regional and local CMAA chapters around the country imparting management and leadership ideas.
