Entry Details

We included a Battle of the Chefs as part of the January Education and Business Exposition. This created excitement and kept things lively during with Business Expo part of the day. It also gave members food to sample as they walked around and spoke with vendors.

Implementation

The idea was implemented by working with four member clubs willing to participate in the Chef competition. Each club/team put together their own menu to display their skills and represent their club. All items were cooked in the room throughout the business expo. The competition was received very well by both the membership and the vendors in attendance. All attendees voted for the dish they enjoyed best. The event culminated with the announcement of the winner and the awarding of the knife trophy.
