Diversity Equity & Inclusion Workshop

The webinar provided a great learning environment for all who attended to ask questions and learn about increasing the diversity, equity and Inclusion in both club staffs and their memberships.  It was an open discussion webinar and they speaker provided lots of prompts to be discussed in smaller group breakout rooms.

Implementation

In September, the New England Chapter held an interactive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion webinar with Kathy Lopes from inKLusion Consulting.  The event included chapter members and club board members in lively and thoughtful discussions on how to make our chapter and the clubs within it more diverse and inclusive. We received wonderful feedback about the event from those who attended about how thought provoking it was and all the new ways that club staffing and membership can be approached to be more inclusive.
