CMAA Connect
CMAA Connect is a place for online community where CMAA members or others can share ideas and discuss topics with other individuals that are part of the club industry. Communities may be centered around different topics or events or might be an online home for existing communities like CMAA chapters. CMAA will assign you to certain communities (like those for CMAA chapters or BMI programs) or you may choose to participate in open communities like the Best Practices Exchange where CMAA members are already discussing important club topics.
Once you’ve joined a community you can choose how you participate. You can visit the community online at any time, but you can also elect to receive email updates when conversations occur (either in real-time or digest format.) Be sure to complete your profile so people can get to know you.
There are several elements to a community. Announcements and discussions are a primary feature. You can also see a directory of community members and reach out to them individually if you like. File sharing is available in the community Library and is a great way to collect and reference documents that might be valuable to the group.
To get started, use the link below or at the top of CMAA's homepage. Log in with the same credentials you use on cmaa.org. Check the My Communities link at the top to see which communities you’re already a part of and browse the other communities you can choose to join.
