Membership and Member Benefits
Put Your Hand in to Serve on a National Committee
Standing and special committees are an important part of CMAA’s leadership structure and vital to its success. If you have renewed your CMAA membership for 2024 as a Professional or Alumnus member, please consider volunteering for a national committee. (If you haven't renewed yet—don't delay!)
CMAA is governed by members to serve members.
National committee appointments are designed to achieve balanced member representation from chapters and regions, club types, individual demographics, skill set, and professional experience.
Contribute your perspective and experience!
Have you Downloaded Your Digital Membership Card?
CMAA partnered with ID123 to provide digital membership cards to all CMAA members. If your 2024 National dues have been paid and you have not installed your card before, you received an email earlier this week from ID123 with instructions on how to install the card from the app. If you already have your card installed, your expiration date updated to October 31, 2024, and no further action is required. If you have any questions about your card or if you would need the card invitation to be resent, please contact Erica Benjamin.
Digital cards are very convenient, and you won’t have to worry about losing your card ever again! Remember – simply present your digital card at the will call tent at most PGA TOUR, USGA, and LPGA events and receive a grounds pass for the day (The Masters and The Ryder Cup are excluded). We hope you enjoy this enhanced member benefit.
Save the Date for Giving Tuesday 2023
Each year, Americans across the country participate in Giving Tuesday. This one-day giving sprint raised more than $3.1 Billion in 2022 to support nonprofit organizations in the US alone. This year, #GivingTuesday is on November 28, and donations to The Club Foundation during the event will directly support robust scholarship programming, furthering the success of the club industry by funding tuition and expenses for the brightest emerging and seasoned club professionals.
Get in the #SpiritofGiving and the #SpiritofCMAA: stay informed about #GivingTuesday by texting CFGIVING to 51555; text TUESDAY to 91999 to donate now. You can also visit the Giving Tuesday page. To donate and support the Chapter Challenge, look for your chapter team on the challenge page.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the buzzword of 2023. With the explosion of platforms like ChatGPT. But what does that mean for clubs? How can clubs harness the incredible power of these types of tools? Who’s already using AI? What more can we be doing? We are going to work to dispel some of the mystery around AI in the first of a series of podcasts on this topic. In this episode, we’re joined by Julie Brown, CCM, CPA, who shares how she and the team at Farmington Country Club are utilizing AI in their day-to-day operations.
