Board Service Commitment Pledge

By implementing a "Board Service Commitment Pledge," our board members are acknowledging the commitment expected prior to their term allowing for the board to work together more cohesively and with greater intention.  A commitment in writing is more effective than a verbal commitment. When people are asked to pledge with their signature, they tend to follow through more often.

Implementation

All incoming board members must complete their "Board Service Commitment Pledge" as part of the orientation process. This has equated to a higher percentage of consistency and follow up in board member performance.
