CMAA ClubCareers provides a wealth of career information and services for members, non-members, search firms, and clubs looking for professional management personnel.
Since the inception of ClubCareers in 2003, the site has showcased thousands of jobs across four unique job boards: The Management Openings list (MOL), The Mid-Management Career Opportunities Listing (MMCO), Entry-Level Job Opportunities (ELO), and the Internship Listing. In recent years, we have added new resources including professional coaching and résumé/LinkedIn services.
A great deal of the success of Career Services depends upon the partnership of the National Headquarters with its more than 40 chapters. ClubCareers provides the mechanism for hiring the best professional for any club. Per the Code of Ethics, the Career Services Chairman is responsible for informing the National Headquarters of any openings in your area so that we may discuss the utilization of the MOL.
If you have any thoughts, concerns, or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Management Openings List
The Managerial Openings List (MOL) is an online listing of clubs seeking executive management personnel. The listing assists members in securing management positions in the private club industry and is available to any CMAA member in good standing. All postings on this list have salary ranges of $100,000 and above.
Mid-Management Career Opportunities List
The Mid-Management Career Opportunities Listing (MMCO) is another section of ClubCareers that lists clubs looking to hire assistant managers, dining room managers, supervisors, membership directors, and various other entry- to mid-level management positions. Jobs on this list have salary ranges starting below $100,000.
The CMAA Internship Listing showcases job opportunities submitted by club managers interested in providing valuable on-the-job education at their clubs. We encourage students and those interested in working in clubs to take advantage of this service, as practical work experience is considered a plus upon graduation.
Please Note: The new threshold for listing a position on the Management Openings List (MOL) is $100,000 and above. Any job listed with a start date prior to July 31, 2023, may have a salary range of $75,000 and above.
More than 20 percent of US workers are now impacted by pay transparency laws. While there is not currently a federal regulation in effect, many state and local laws require salary and benefit disclosure on job advertisements. Current requirements exist in CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, NV, NY, RI, and WA* as well as the cities of Ithaca, NY; New York City, NY; Westchester County, NY; Cincinnati, OH; Toledo, OH; and Washington, DC (beginning June 30, 2024), and pending legislation exists in many other localities. All clubs should confirm their disclosure requirements with their state office of labor/employment/industry.
