Two of the job boards on the ClubCareers website incur a charge to post their position(s).

The fee to post is based on the position’s salary range. Please see the table below for a complete breakdown of the fee schedule. Most postings will have a duration of six weeks on the ClubCareers website; internships run for 12 weeks.

Please Note: The new threshold for listing a position on the Management Openings List (MOL) is $100,000 and above. Any job listed with a start date prior to July 31, 2023, may have a salary range of $75,000 and above.

Four Levels of Job Listings

1. Managerial Openings List**

The Managerial Openings List (MOL) is an online listing of clubs seeking executive management personnel. The listing assists members in securing management positions in the private club industry and is available to any CMAA member in good standing. All postings on this list have salary ranges at $100,000 (minimum) or above.

Please Note: Any job posting that has a salary range that straddles the $100,000 yearly salary—such as a range of $95,000–$110,000—will be displayed on both the MOL and the MMCO.

The MOL lists such details as club dues, sales volumes, salary ranges, benefits and job qualifications and descriptions. The MOL is not limited to those actually unemployed. Members frequently utilize this service when they are looking for a career change or are simply interested in keeping up-to-date on management opportunities.

Anyone can list their club job(s) on the MOL. Boards, search committees, industry professionals, and executive search firms are frequent users of this list.

2. Mid-Management Career Opportunities List*

The Mid-Management Career Opportunities Listing (MMCO) is another section of ClubCareers that lists clubs looking to hire assistant managers, dining room managers, supervisors, membership directors and various other entry- to mid-level management positions. All postings on this list have salary ranges below $100,000 (see note above regarding salary range).

3. Entry-Level Opportunities*

Entry-Level Opportunities is aimed at filling entry-level, hourly wage jobs. CMAA members have identified the recruitment of employees as a top challenge. This job board is a no-cost member benefit. Members will post jobs that will be arranged by state and then by club, making it easy to navigate. Applicants contact the club by the email provided in the listing. CMAA members will list jobs, but anyone can access the listing who is looking for employment.

4. Internship Listing*

The CMAA Internship Listing showcases job opportunities submitted by club managers interested in hiring students to work at their clubs. We encourage students and those interested in working in clubs to take advantage of this service, as practical work experience is considered a plus upon graduation.
