The Chapter hosts round tables throughout the year and promotes them as an opportunity to network, share ideas, insights & best practices.  What if we added share biggest mistakes to the list of objectives? What if we had an event where participants shared their mistakes?  We say we learn from our mistakes, that mistakes are simply the 'portals of discovery', that 'It's good to learn from your mistakes. It's better to learn from other people's mistakes'.  Would sharing blunders demonstrate the Chapter's desire to help shorten Chapter Members' learning curves?

Implementation

Campfire Confessions was created with a casual setting and wine flowing to relax members to the point of revealing a professional mishap or 2.  People thought it was a great idea, but no one signed up....  Was it the program or the timing?  We'll find out when we re-schedule Campfire Confessions this winter and re-name it Fireside Chats.
