CCM Book Club

Entry Details

The Certified Club Manager Book Club serves Chapter Members working towards their CCM.  It is established as a monthly collaborative learning group aimed at equipping club management professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and support network necessary to attain the Certified Club Manager designation.

Implementation

Implementation: All Chapter Members working towards their CCM were invited to join the Book Club. The book was segmented into monthly reading assignments, with each session dedicated to specific chapters or topic areas. To foster engagement and shared learning, discussion topics were assigned to participants in advance, with the responsibility for leading each month's conversation being rotated. Following each meeting, discussion notes and key takeaways were compiled and distributed to participants for their continued study.
The program was intentionally structured as a rolling 12-month cycle. With the curriculum repeating annually, new participants are welcomed to join at any point during the year, allowing them to complete the full course of study over the following 12 months without disrupting the group's continuity.

The Book:  Oregon Chapter reimburses Book Club participants $89 for their purchase of the online Fourth Edition Contemporary Club Management book.
