Entry Details

Given the schedules of our managers, and volume of emails and contact, the Chapter has implemented a comprehensive Quarterly Magazine that has served as a tool and connector for Chapter and National happenings.

Implementation

Chapter members have been very complimentary of the publication and use it as a reference and resource for their involvement. We have also used this platform to highlight the work of our managers who have served as mentors, led education sessions and for further recognition. Some have shared this publication with their Club Board members. An example is a feature on Ken Underwood from Norfolk Yacht Club who led a wonderful education session on what it take to run Yacht Clubs. We did a showcase of his Pro Tips and "Yachting for Dummies." He was able to share with his Board his outreach and documented highlights of his contribution through this publication.
