Member Development & Engagement: Celebrating 40 Years

The Virginias Chapter, CMAA Board and Anniversary committee in honor of the Chapter’s 40 year anniversary developed a special logo designed by a member to utilize throughout the year for member development and engagement. From this logo, an anniversary pin was made and given to Chapter members and guests at the kickoff education in January. Members have worn with honor to Chapter education and national events. It has been a positive reminder of the Chapter’s history and the growth of the profession. The special logo was approved by the national office. The logo was utilized all year on additional promotional material such as golf towels and tournament cups. It has served as a connector for our Chapter in member development and engagement

Implementation

The logo design was approved and incorporated on all promotional material in addition to our website. The Anniversary pins were then ordered and distributed to all members and guests at our 40th Anniversary Kickoff Event. It generated momentum for our Chapter and created a new sense of camaraderie. Very positive feedback! Additional items were prepared featuring the special logo and utilized at our 34th Annual Golf Tournament.
