Newbie Scholarship

Entry Details

This idea has enhanced our chapter by giving us the opportunity to welcome new members to the chapter, who may otherwise not have the opportunity to join CMAA and to acknowledge them for being engaged and taking steps to participate in professional development and to enhance their career in club management.

Implementation

This scholarship was implemented for the first time in 2019 and has been a great addition to our chapter's annual scholarship offerings. It was welcomed by our membership and our clubs have benefitted by helping offset the cost of dues for a new member.
