Entry Details

Aside from our board’s diversity being reflective of the diversity of our state, New Jersey, which enhances our direct representation of our constituents, we also believe that board diversity trickles down to our various committees.  Our board members’ many areas of expertise and experience make them better suited to lead and mentor their committee members and ultimately improve the chapter and its members by more effectively achieving our many goals.

Implementation

Implementation may not properly represent this idea. It rather grew organically as diversity and inclusion is just the path we chose to take.  It did not occur overnight but was rather a product of continued attention and focus as well as communication and cooperation with our many members, encouraging all to participate.  Our membership has responded with enthusiasm to the idea that anyone, no matter their position or their club can strive to and achieve a leadership position in the chapter.
