The Student & Faculty Outreach initiative has strengthened GSW CMAA’s connection with future club and golf management professionals while positioning our chapter as an active industry partner and resource. By collaborating with Arizona’s major golf associations, we amplify our collective voice, introduce students to career opportunities, and help build the next generation of industry leaders. It also increases awareness of CMAA and creates meaningful connections between students, faculty, and club professionals.

Implementation

GSW CMAA partnered with fellow golf association Executive Directors to participate in faculty and student panels, sharing our organizations, programs, career opportunities, and personal experiences. We created an open environment where students could ask questions, explore career paths, and learn how to become involved in the industry.

The response has been very positive, with students and faculty appreciating the opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders. The initiative has also generated strong support from our members because it helps grow the talent pipeline, strengthen industry partnerships, and give back to our community. Through continued outreach, social media, and industry communication, we are helping showcase club management as a rewarding career and investing in the future of our profession.
