Regional Groups

Entry Details

Within the chapter, veteran members have created regional groups. Each group has a regional email list which allows them to share information or obtain an answer quickly regarding how others are handling issues and challenges or to discuss almost limitless topics about club governance or operations. The groups also have informal quarterly gatherings. These smaller networks have helped create stronger, long lasting relationships.

Implementation

Each group has a main contact. When a new member joins the membership committee connects them with their regional group. The chapter loves these extra peer groups and they have been more vital than ever during the pandemic. Club managers need to act quickly to the rapidly changing environment and their regional groups offer quick answers and emotional support.
