Social Media and Marketing Outline Strategy
The Metropolitan Chapter has been making efforts to increase our social media presence this past year in order to provide our members with up to date events, a platform to network and the ability to stay involved and take advantage of what our Chapter has to offer. We have put together this policy outline in order to organize our timeline of posting, where to send content and where to post the latter.
Using social media and having a written plan for Chapter communication creates value for the membership and helps your volunteer board and Managing Director do their jobs more efficiently. This is an evolving document that will be shared with committees to help them understand the Chapter’s policies, to create clarity and engage more Chapter members in communicating on behalf of the Chapter.
