Taking it Outside

During an education planning session, our president mentioned that many of her staff often starred out the window wondering what the agronomy team was doing and why they were doing it...this was our "aha" moment! We knew this was an opportunity to merge allied organizations for a day of learning and relationship building between clubhouse staff and agronomy teams.

Implementation

Attendees arrived curious and left with a deep appreciation - what more could you ask for! We partnered with the Nebraska Golf Course Superintendent Association for guidance and help with running the various stations both on the course and in the maintenance building. We held both a panel discussion and stations with hands-on learning and the ability for lots of questions to be asked. As mentioned on the poster, the greens-rolling was the biggest hit of the day!
