The Club Tour Experience has enhanced GSW CMAA by creating a unique opportunity for members, alliance partners, and students to learn directly from club leaders and from one another. By opening the doors to clubs and sharing behind-the-scenes operations, renovations, challenges, and best practices, the program promotes learning and strengthens relationships across our industry.

It also creates meaningful opportunities for sponsor engagement, student involvement, and member education while showcasing the innovation and complexity behind today’s club operations. The experience reinforces our chapter’s belief that when we share knowledge and collaborate, our entire industry grows stronger together.

Implementation

GSW CMAA developed the Club Tour Experience as an interactive, educational program rather than a traditional club visit. This year, we partnered with several clubs undergoing major renovations and invited their leadership teams to provide behind-the-scenes tours of kitchens, operational areas, and renovation projects, sharing their processes, challenges, and lessons learned.

Members, alliance partners, and students were able to ask questions, exchange ideas, and connect directly with club professionals. The response has been extremely positive, with participants appreciating the access, transparency, and practical knowledge shared by each club.

The event also generated strong engagement among sponsors and students and provided opportunities for continued communication and engagement, extending the impact beyond the event itself
