The Virginias Chapter, CMAA Golf Committee in its final stages of Tournament Preparation for the Chapter's Annual Golf Tournament decided to add a special communication piece to send out to participants in advance of the Tournament, but also to include as a trifold within each cart to identify the fun Food & Beverage stops along the course complete with a course map and key identifying specific drinks, and specialty food stations. It was a hit. All were ready and excited to make each turn. It created a buzz for the tournament and offered a nod to the F&B in addition to the traditional course map.

Implementation

This enhancement was identified during a Chapter Golf Committee meeting as a little something extra to give players and participants items to look forward to. Many player/participants are non-golfers who are there for the day to support the Chapter. It was a hit. It made the tournament relaxed and fun and showcased the thoughtful planning of the host Club's Food & Beverage Team. We put F&B on the Map!
