WICM Wellness Retreat

The Women in Club Management Retreat has strengthened our chapter by creating a dedicated space for women leaders to connect, learn, and grow while supporting CMAA’s Women in Club Management Member Interest Group and Communities such as Club Wellness and Communications.

The retreat combines professional development, wellness, and peer-to-peer connection, creating relationships and conversations that continue long after the event. It has become one of GSW CMAA’s most meaningful signature programs for connection, empowerment, and leadership growth.

Implementation

GSW CMAA developed the Women in Club Management Retreat as an annual gathering focused on leadership, wellness, education, and connection. This year, we brought members together in Flagstaff, Arizona, with wellness coaches and industry experts leading meaningful workshops, while intentionally creating time for networking and open peer-to-peer conversations.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive. Members value the opportunity to step away from their day-to-day responsibilities, connect with other women in the industry, and gain tools they can bring back to their clubs. The continued enthusiasm for the retreat demonstrates the strong interest in programs that support both professional development and personal well-being, while strengthening engagement with CMAA’s Member Interest Groups and Communities.
