In 2026, CMAA participated in the 18th Annual National Golf Day. CMAA and golf leadership converged on Capitol Hill for the first National Golf Day on April 16, 2008. In 2010, CMAA, along with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the National Golf Course Owners Association, and the PGA of America founded WE ARE GOLF, to represent the economic, human and environmental benefits of the industry at federal, state and local levels of government in 2010. Today, it is known as the American Golf Industry Coalition and it continues to advocate for the industry.
