35 years ago, Sally Burns Rambo was named Club Manager of the Year. Not only was Sally the first woman to earn this recognition, she was also a pioneer who paved the way for the success of countless club industry leaders. Sally's memory is honored by the Sally Burns Rambo Scholarship, granted annually by The Club Foundation, which provides financial support to female club managers interested in furthering their professional development. Annually, the Texas Lone Star Chapter holds the Yellow Rose Ball in Sally's honor as well.
