At the 1969 Conference, then-President Joseph Donoghue announced that the Vision '77 Committee had evolved into the new Long Range Planning Committee. Vision '77 was commissioned to study and report on the condition and the situation of CMAA and its members. From that information, the task force predicted the services and facilities the organization wold require ten years into the future.
