Introducing 1951, the next evolution of the existing Lakeside Fifty-One outlet where a beloved dining space has been thoughtfully transformed into an elevated steakhouse experience for our members just in time to celebrate Lakeside’s 75th anniversary.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Reimagined with soft white tablecloths, fresh florals, and warm ambient lighting, 1951 blends timeless elegance with modern refinement, creating an inviting setting for unforgettable evenings set apart from other offerings at the Club.

The menu showcases the very best of fine dining, from chilled, opulent seafood towers and refined caviar service to perfectly aged prime steaks, carved Tomahawk steaks, and indulgent tableside accompaniments, all delivered with polished, attentive service. For a limited time, members are invited to experience Lakeside Fifty-One, redefined as 1951—where culinary mastery, classic hospitality, and elevated ambiance come together in one exceptional destination.

The restaurant will change again in the fall where a new cuisine and ambience will continue to keep the member dining experience fresh, innovative, and something they can only find inside the gates of the Club.

We have seen incredible response to the refreshed setting and menu. Many members celebrated the holidays, but it is also widely used throughout the week for an elevated venue for a quiet dinner. We cannot wait to plan and program the next theme!
