A Night in the Kitchen

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

This unique event has undoubtedly enhanced the member experience. Allowing members into an “employee space” has created bonds that otherwise would have never existed. Most notably, this event has given many of our “back of the house” employees an enormous boost to their pride and ownership of their craft.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

For members, this event provides a glimpse into the “back of the house,” where our culinary team makes their masterpieces day after day. For our culinary team, it is an opportunity to showcase their skills and workspace. The idea came about when we contemplated ways to add variety and uniqueness to our dining experiences. With so much pride in our kitchens and culinary team, we thought it was a shame that they rarely received face-to-face time with our membership. The event was such a hit that it became a twice-a-year event with a new theme and menu each time.
