How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Annual Holiday Walk is in partnership with the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. This event is a charitable community event to support the local Shop with A Cop program. A holiday outreach initiative which aims to ensure that local families and children in need receive holiday gifts and holiday financial assistance. The event encourages participation and community spirit as well as wellness for members, guests, staff and sponsors.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Over 19 years, Timber Pines has participated in this charity event. It was implemented by marketing of the event and promoting wellness by organizing a community walk. Over 19 years, the community has donated over $300,000 to the Shop with a Cop program, serving as a fundraiser and an awareness activity. The members loved the camaraderie and wellness benefits the program promotes!
