Athlete’s Kitchen was created to provide optimal nutrition for the demands of everyday athletes. These items have become a huge hit with our athletic members who enjoy having options that keeps in line with their goals and also support their recovery efforts.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The DAC’s own Nutritionist, Certified Master Chef (CMC) and Fitness staff collaborated to create concepts that provided healthy options available in various Club outlets. Through research, different seasonal options were provided. Items are available in our Café located on the ground floor of the Club for easy access, and select menu items are available in our dining outlets. Our best seller is the “No-oat” Noatmeal. The Protein Date Bread is packed with 21g of protein, no grains and minimal sugar. The Root Vegetable Quinoa Bowl included an array of vegetables, herbs and seasonings. The growing popularity encourages development of new recipes to provide the needed nutrients to support member goals.
