How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

It has been a slow and steady trial and error. We look forward to engaging the community in the next additions, inviting the local area Boys and Girls Club to participate in the building and installation of additional bird houses and bat boxes. The drive to become more environmentally aware has resonated with our membership. They have always been proud of our operation but our drive to give back to the environment has given them something more to be proud of in the community.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The membership has been very excited to see the reintroduction of native wildlife into our club community. They are also proud to know that The Berkshire Country Club is doing our part to better our community and local environment.
