How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Champions Run partnered with a local RC Airplane club and offered kids the chance to fly remote control planes on the driving range. Kids came out and were able to fly planes with the assistance of the pilots. We had over 75 kids come out and it was an amazing night!

How was this idea implemented and what have been the club members' reactions?

The event was an instant classic. Instructors let the children fly the planes - which could be easily switched between pilot and instructor. Multiple planes flew over the driving range, and the RC club also brought in a flight simulator for kids to practice flying on. They ended the event with an RC aviation show!
