Idea Fair

Bourbon Events

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We have been creating events around our member's favorite spirit, Bourbon for the past 1.5 years.  Each time we freshen the look so each event is new and exciting!

So how do we keep the table looking fresh so to speak so people feel all the love each time?  The answer is we change it up every time!  We never do the same event twice.  If you have ever read the Purple Cow, you absolutely understand this message.  Our job is to create new events that are exciting each time and we love it.  We will never do the same event twice because if you do it right the first time you will not want to repeat it as it becomes average, no longer exciting.  We enhance the events each time to make them new and exciting!  An example of this would be our Bourbon Dinners.  This is something new and fun but honestly after we did the Woodford Dinner, we needed to change it up.  We needed something more than just dinner and a tasting education.  We needed a fresh table!  We came up with the Bourbon Bash!  We had game tables (craps, roulette, poker) and a DJ.  Dinner and our very own label ENCC Bourbon was unveiled!  This was part of the newness as we barreled and batched our very own bourbon!  The Bash was the release party! Now 2022, and we need something new and exciting, so next we will produce the Bourbon Bonanza in February!  This will be a mesh up of 3 different labels, Whistle pig, Kentucky Owl and Garrison Brothers.  Keeping in mind, Bourbon is always the main event, however, we change it each time, so it is fresh and exciting for members!  Being a Category of One and creating memorable experiences is what we are about!  It is what we are as hospitality driven leaders.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

These ideas are implemented with videos, flyers and IG stories to excite the members of what is to come!  Members are raving about the new and exciting programs we have created surrounding their favorite spirit, bourbon!
