Children's Camps

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We are currently coming upon our fourth year of implementation, club members could not be more excited for this program to continue. With 25-45 children per week and a staff of 20, everyone can be involved in the care of our community and children here at PGCC, a value and skill set which we prize within our team. Our staff and children will be familiar with golf, tennis, and swimming very quickly while simultaneously learning lifelong skills and making new friends.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The idea of creating a customized all day camp program for our families here at the Peninsula Golf & Country Club has been well received. The program has greatly enhanced our sense of community, buy-in from members to sign up their children and grandchildren for the programs, and sense of ownership and input over the developmental process.
