Club Event Accessibility in the Year of "Stay Home"

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The 2020 focus for Club Events was to maintain a positive attitude and focus on what we CAN do. Working within closure guidelines, capacity restrictions and distancing protocols, our team was able to increase accessibility of many events that would otherwise be cancelled.

How was this idea implemented and what have been the club members' reactions?

The club implemented these events on a case by case basis on what was feasible and what would be most closely associated with our members’ preferences. Annual events were amended to be enjoyed at home, outdoors, offsite or in a socially distanced format. The members were very happy and thankful for the access to these annual club events!
