Clubs Connecting Ideas: The Newsletter Club
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The importance of innovation has always been an important driver of member satisfaction in clubs, and the importance and benefit of innovation has grown in significance over the last few years as a result of the dynamic, post-pandemic environment.
Innovation is exciting and rewarding in many respects; however, being innovative takes time, effort, and work. In most clubs, few roles have excess time available throughout the week to spend dreaming and imagining new and exciting events, activities, and amenities. In addition, to the importance of innovation, clubs have always commonly helped and supported one another.
We created a way for clubs to easily and efficiently share their ideas with one another to help promote innovation amongst the industry – the sharing of digital newsletters as a part of a club within clubs.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Currently, the 80+ clubs participating in the program share their digital monthly or quarterly member newsletters with each other every month to inspire ideas (dining room promotions, events, graphic design, etc.), garner trends, (option to focus on clubs by region, size, or scale), and stay innovative (with timely and applicable examples).
