This initiative invites hospitality students from local colleges to tour the Club and shadow staff for a day, offering an introduction to the private club industry. By opening our doors to students who may not yet be ready for a formal internship, the Club strengthens its connection to the local community while creating an early talent pipeline. These visits help students better understand club operations, showcase career paths within hospitality, and position the Bay Head Yacht Club as a supportive and educational workplace.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Local college hospitality programs are invited to visit the Club for guided tours and behind-the-scenes exposure to multiple departments. Students observe daily operations, engage with leadership, and gain a realistic understanding of private club hospitality.
