Cooking Class with Executive Chef
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
A chance to cook alongside our Executive Chef offers members a unique experience to learn proper cooking techniques and understand the creative processes behind our kitchen team and their dishes. By participating in this, members build a relationship with Chef and his team. They also begin to comprehend the dedication and care our team puts into giving members the ultimate experience through food and presentation. It is a hands-on experience where our members and our Executive Chef work together to create something delicious and show worthy.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
We utilized our service staff to be on standby, so they could cater to any member needs and help Chef. We offered a complimentary glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres upon member arrival, while our Executive Chef was stationed at the front of the room with his necessary supplies and equipment. Members were seated in front of him in an audience style, and the cooking class ran like a Q&A. Chef pulled volunteers from the audience to help him make a 3-course meal, and after the class, members enjoyed the 3 courses, family-style. Members loved this event because it gives them an opportunity to learn closely alongside our Executive Chef, while also enjoying the delicious creations afterwards.
