COVID Carryout Lounge

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

When the Governor shut down dine in capabilities in early December we introduced our COVID Carry Out Cocktail Lounge at the front entrance valet area for members to gather. On average 50-80 members gathered every Friday / Saturday to enjoy a cocktail / order carry out dinner and visit with fellow members in a safe warm environment. Carry Out business increased by 40% in December and January

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our maintenance staff enclosed valet parking area at front entrance with 30 x 100 heavy plastic to block wind & cold. Then move in our fire pits and portable heaters to create our "Carry Out Cocktail Lounge". It became the place to be every weekend from 5-8pm nightly. Members reaction was very well received.
