Idea Fair
Dine and Crime
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Dine and Crime featured Phil Chalmers, one of the world’s most respected true-crime experts and a leading authority on serial killers and criminal psychology. Bringing someone of his caliber into a private club setting immediately elevated the experience and gave members access to something usually reserved for major theaters, universities, or crime conventions. It allowed us to offer an educational, thrilling, and highly exclusive event that went far beyond a traditional dinner program. That kind of programming strengthens member loyalty and reinforces the club as a place for truly unique experiences.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Phil transformed the club into a full true-crime experience using his personal museum of real serial killer artifacts, photos, and case files, creating an immersive environment throughout the space. The evening culminated in a live phone call with a convicted serial killer, where members could ask questions directly, something almost no one ever gets to experience. Members were completely captivated from start to finish and left talking about how surreal and fascinating it was. Many said it was one of the most memorable events the club had ever hosted.
