Dodgeball Tournament

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The DAC dodgeball tournament provided a fun and engaging activity for members of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. 

Having a diverse group of participants served to strengthen interpersonal relationships and provided networking opportunities, fostering connections and collaborations within our Club community.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

With many members having played dodgeball as children, it was easy to attract participants to the idea of playing in a dodgeball game.  Employees and members engaged in a trial run of the tournament to determine the best format, duration, etc., further strengthening bonds.

The tournament was open to all Club members (not just Athletics members) and was promoted within our clubs within the Club, using weekly digital newsletter, posters, and word-of-mouth. 

This first-year event was a hit, with participants asking to make it a recurring event or even establishing a dodgeball league.
