Dog Days in the West Garden

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

On a beautiful Fall day, Cosmos Club held a dog party in the West Garden. There was a best in breed contest as part of the festivities. Human snacks and beverages, and doggy treats were served. The event allowed us to utilize our outdoor terrace patio in a way it was never used before.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The "Dog Days in the West Garden" event was put together with casual, nontraditional use of the Club in mind. Dogs are normally forbidden from the property, this was an opportunity to entertain our dog lovers and their canine companions. The positive energy and member enjoyment was captured in a Bulletin article and this will become an annual event.
