Dog Days of Summer

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We wanted to do something fun for the end of summer and prior to refurbishing our pool so we invited members to bring their dogs to the pool for an afternoon/evening swim. We had the dogs and kids swimming in the pool. Dog treats, bar was open and music.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We had the idea only a few days prior and quickly made a poster for the pool, stories for social media and a text out to the membership. We wanted it to be an easy carefree event and it really was. No cost to the members and the kids ended up swimming too. The members loved it! The members that were not there were super sad to miss out and they all cannot wait to do it again. The members really loved the out of the box pop up idea.
