How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

For a limited time each season, the club offers complimentary access to various athletic and recreational facilities to the entire membership so that they can try new sports and activities. Members are also welcome to bring a non-member guest to join them.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Access to athletic facilities usually requires a section membership or a per-visit fee. This “doors open” event encourages members to test out the club’s many offerings without commitment, thereby promoting the club’s facilities and services to existing members. Inviting their non-member families and friends to participate helps to promote club membership. Members appreciate the ability to try something new and to shake up their day-to-day routines at the club. In 2023, over 300 members and guests participated.
