COVID-19 not only stopped our holiday buffet business dead in its tracks, but it also put a damper on our flower orders for special events as well. To assist our vendor florists, we started offering "centerpieces to-go" that could be ordered with a member's family carry out catering order.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Easy to implement marketing with a few email blasts and a simple line on the regular carry out order form was added for ease of ordering. The member's sure appreciated the extra touch and also felt appreciative of how we extended some business to the neighborhood.
