How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The Emergency Communications Manual has allowed BCC management to communicate urgent messages to the membership in a consistent & timely manner. It has allowed the communications team more freedom & flexibility by not being the only department able to send out these types of messages.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
A comprehensive, easy to follow manual was created by the communications department. This was distributed to management via email. One-on-ones were also held with the Director of Communications to walk through the manual and ensure the information was understood. The members have been positively impacted because they are alerted immediately and there is no lag time in receiving the information.
