Idea Fair
Employee Fishing Tourney
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The Employee Fishing Tournament was designed to bring staff together for a fun, team-oriented experience. Held at the Club’s on-property retaining pond, it provided a unique opportunity for employees to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors alongside coworkers from all departments. The tournament encouraged a healthy spirit of competition while uplifting team morale.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The Club provided fishing equipment for all participants, ensuring the event was accessible to everyone—including those who had never fished before. In fact, several staff members experienced fishing for the very first time. The contest focused on a single goal: who could catch the largest fish. The event was well-organized and promoted in advance. Staff from all areas of the Club participated, creating a rare and meaningful opportunity to connect outside of daily responsibilities. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and the Employee Fishing Tournament is now a highly anticipated tradition.
