Employee Health Screening Program
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The idea has enhanced club operation because we have streamlined employee check ins to save the staff time and the club money. Without having to employ someone to take the temperatures it gives another opportunity for a staff member to be utilized elsewhere along with protecting that employees health and well being. Being able to check in virtually as well the club is able to record all submissions making sure that every staff member entering the building is safe to work that day. Another added bonus to operations that it includes is the reminder to put your mask on. The reader will not take your temp unless you are wearing your mask which is now an essential part of our day to day operations.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
As we planned to open the club we knew that in order to keep both staff and members safe there needed to be a screening program implemented. When it first started we had a member of staff manually taking temps of each staff member that came in to the building. After a few months of the pandemic new technology started to come out and the temp stations were available for us to streamline the process. After implementing the new technology both staff and members felt safer that all employees are required to screen their symptoms and check that they are able to be around our members.
