Fall Food & Wine Festacular
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The Fall Food & Wine Festacular is an annual event attended by nearly 1000 members and guests in our clubhouse. It is intended to allow our culinary team to go “off menu” and showcase their unique talents. Some of the offerings included Smoked Sterling Silver Beef Brisket BAO Buns, Muscovy Duck, Yakitori Grilled Octopus with Chorizo, Himachi Crudo and more.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Stations are set up throughout the entire house with live music offered in 3 rooms. Members look forward to this every year as it has become a tradition and is known to offer foods and drinks that are not readily offered both at the club, or at most restaurants. It is a proud moment for the entire culinary and banquets teams that helps build morale.
