How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
When ability to do in house events for for families in December we needed to try to stay engaged with families and keep them involved in some way. We created via e-mail contest every Friday am for 8 weeks "Family Feud Fridays" Members received email with 3 questions (Just like TV Show) and had until noon Friday to respond with top 5 answers in various holiday categories. We marketed our carry out service and winner received a family meal deal with bottle of wine. Carry out business definitely increased.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Membership Director thought we needed to stay connected with all members during shut down no in dining service no holiday events ie.. cookie decorating / Santa Brunch so we found Family Feud online questions for families to compete. On average 30-40 families responded in competition for family meal deal. It was a great competition that truly engaged members.
