How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
This was another concept we came up with to adhere to COVID guidelines. Like most clubs, events had to become more private and intimate, but also had to be next level. At Edgewood we live by the philosophy that even the little things need to be elevated. Everytime we do an event, the next one has to be bigger and better.
How was this idea implemented and what have been the club members' reactions?
The staff all worked together to use all local products from local farms, butcher shops, breweries, distilleries, and wineries. All of the decor was from local businesses as well! As a club, while we were effected like everyone else during the pandemic, but not as much as these local businesses. This idea was a way to help support them during this difficult time. Members embraced the look, the taste, and evening. It was a huge success and it was nice to support our community.
